The 3-star smoke-free Hotel Tara Pokhara is only 500 metres from the Gobinda Rai Trek and offers ticket service, as well as bicycles for rent. During my recent city break at Hotel Tara, I was instantly struck by the warm hospitality from the staff, who went above and beyond to assist us with everything from trekking permits to early check-in, allowing us to freshen up right after our trek. Our deluxe room was a delightful blend of comfort and style, featuring a light-filled ambiance, premium bedding, and a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the mighty Annapurna Range. The restaurant's diverse menu catered to everyone's tastes, and enjoying a drink at the bar while planning our next adventure made it feel like a treasured escape. With its perfect balance of tranquility and convenience-being just 5 km from the vibrant heart of Pokhara-Hotel Tara truly felt like a secure oasis. For anyone looking to indulge in the area's natural beauty while still enjoying modern comforts, I can't recommend this place enough-9.5/10!
